WOK-57: Laboratory Procedures for Complete Dentures Parts 1 and 2

In this two-part video, part one addresses the technological steps in waxing and flasking dentures as well as the anatomical considerations in shaping the wax and the investing procedures using artificial stone in sections. Also included in part one is a demonstration of sprinkling a characterizing veneer into the mold after the wax-removal process. Part two addresses the handling and packing of the flasked molds with methylmethacrylate resin, followed by recovery of the processed dentures and their correction for processing errors. The dentures are then finished with polishing elements. Attention is given to preserving orientation indices to facilitate the delivery of the dentures.
