Course Description:
The perception that fixed prosthetics are superior and that removable prosthetics are inferior has been a stigma that has influenced the way that patients view treatment, especially when it comes to implant prosthetics. In this course we explore how removable prosthetics are making a comeback, and why they prove to be a superior restoration when combined with implants in a rigid solution.
Course Objectives:
1. Identify how both anatomical and facial anatomy relate to esthetic outcomes
2. Learn how gingival esthetics add to the value of any removable prosthesis
3. Understand the 3 components of removable telescopic implant prostheses
4. Learn the clinical approach for removable telescopic implant prostheses
