Thank you for participating in the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology’s (Foundation) Fundamentals of Dental Laboratory Technology Program!

In this course, FDLT004 – Certification, you will learn the different certifications and their purpose, including Certified Dental Technician (CDT), Certified Dental Laboratory (CDL), Recognized Graduate (RG), and Dental Appliance Manufacturers Audit System (DAMAS).

This is being offered as an individual course; however, if you combine the content from this course with several other courses, it can provide important fundamental information that will help frame the field of dental laboratory technology. 

The initial seven courses (FDLT001 through FDLT007) will encompass information that provides a general introduction to dental laboratory technology. Please refer to the Course Syllabus in the handouts section for a complete listing of the courses that comprise the Introduction to Dental Laboratory Technology.
