In this video, provided by Dentsply/York Division, the procedures recommended by the crown & bridge department of Dentsply for soldering or joining one of their nonprecious alloys in the porcelain-fused-to-metal system are demonstrated.  Some of the problems faced by dental laboratories in successfully completing the joining or uniting of two pieces of similar material or metal with a piece of dissimilar metal are discussed.
