A Start to Finish Guide for Fabricating Implant-Retained Appliances

This lecture will guide participants through fabrication considerations for implant-retained appliances related to: treatment planning, setting and trying the case, designing the bar on the laboratory software, milling the substructure, transferring the teeth to the bar, waxing the case to final contour, and processing techniques. We will discuss steps to be taken to facilitate efficient processing of cases with implant-retained substructures based on your preferred processing technique (injection, pack, or pour).

This course is approved for 1 hour of Scientific Credit through the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC).
